Cracking an egg can be a messy business, but not when you’re 60 feet below the surface of the ocean. When you crack an egg under the sea, the surrounding water takes on the role of the eggshell, exerting enough inward pressure on the egg to keep it intact.

And it is oddly mesmerizing to watch.
